Stunning small Charles 11 cupboard in Oak having a single door decorated with square of D moulding and a central beautifully crisp carved decorated Diamond. Inside are two ‘pigeon’ holes (which may have had drawers once) and two long drawers, one with small repair. The back is original and is a fabulous reclaimed much earlier inlaid Tudor knot panel. The drawers also have reclaimed timber. The hinges are the original H hinges with wonderful patination. It has had a lock at some point which is now missing but I don’t think it had one originally. The size is 31 cm’s wide and 33cm’s tall. All in all a superb oak wall cupboard of diminutive proportions and fabulous colour and patination. Displays beautifully. Circa 1670-80
