Superb Coquilla nut snuff box. On the lid two Soldiers fighting on horse back. On the back two Soldiers fighting on foot with spears and swords with a city in the back ground. Most probably Napoleonic wars between the Ottoman empire and European forces. This may have been carved by a Soldier or a Prisoner of War. Fabulous condition and colour. Circa 1800-20
