Extremely Rare and Early snuff box. Dating from the early 18th Century this snuff box would have been made for a very important Landowner or maybe a Judge. Sitting in his Throne Chair, holding Court with a foot warmer under his feet. It is very well carved and, besides a couple of age relegated knocks, it is in remarkable condition. Untouched and unrestored it would command it’s place in any collection. standing at just 10cm’s tall and being a very good colour and patination. Circa 1720-40
