Incredible Early 18th Century ‘Demon’ Skull. Exceptionally Rare and carved from a solid piece of Burr Walnut. With incorporated Rams Horns and Bone teeth. Possibly used for Witchcraft Practise or the occult , both very popular from the middle ages right through to Victorian times. Being only 8.5 cm’s tall by 8 cm’s x 7 cm’s it is beautifully carved with a realistic but quite frightening face. A very rare piece, possibly French or Italian. Circa 1700-20
