Very Rare Pineapple shaped form of Tea Caddy with the base leaves forming a ‘cup’ and a double leaf on top forming the stalk. Both the base and stalk in Green Lacquer. The main body ‘dimpled’ to suggest the skin of the Pineapple. Wonderful colour and patination as well retaining the original hinge, lock and escutcheon. Some original foil liner remains. Height is 12cm’s Circa 1810-20
