Stunning Rare and highly unusual Welsh ‘Love Spoon’ having a single intricate pierced wheel with the meaning of ‘hard work’ I have never seen such an intricate pierced wheel and certainly not as the only decoration. The bowl of the spoon is perfect as is the stem. It is a fabulous colour throughout and carved from a single piece of Pear wood. A rare spoon being over 20 cm’s long. Circa 1820-30
