A Stunning 17th Century ‘Milanese’ Cocus Wood Table Cabinet inlaid with Ivory.

The fall-front reveals a series of eight drawers, the lower row constituting a single full width drawer the front split to look like three. The small door in the centre with original hinges and lock reveal an inlaid cupboard with a small niche holding 2 drawers which when removed reveal a concealed drawer.

Each internal drawer is inlaid in Ivory with moulded edge and wonderful Lion mask handle.

The front face is inlaid with Marquetry of geometric Ivory stringing with panels of floral Ivory tracery. The stringing inlaid sides retain original carrying handles. Each corner has its original shaped protection brackets in cast steel.

All with superb original colour and patination.
