Extremely Rare 18th Century Cheese or Tavern Table with the most wonderful Pollard Elm top. The top is of two pieces with an original iron bound ring to keep it tight together. There has been a little shrinkage over time between the iron band and top which has “popped a couple of the nails but the iron band has never been off. It has an Elm block attached to the underside with three pole lathe turned legs in oak of superb original height. All in all a stunning original table of fantastic untouched colour, originality and height. Circa 1760-80
