Absolutely stunning Rare 17th Century Hour/Sandglass in perfect untouched condition. 5 pole lathe turned spindles in fruitwood (apple or pear) of the most glorious colour. The two central blown glass sand bulbs sealed by a mixture of hemp, wax and silk to form a waist. The flow time of the sand is exactly 30 mins. The very best example of an early sand/hour glass standing 10 inches tall. Circa 1660-80. Collectors Edition……..
