Very early snuff box carved from solid Yew Tree. More research on the relevance of Unicorns and lions standing rampant on canons holding what looks like a broken 💔with two arrows through it. Heraldic shield showing a rampant lion, a harp, Fleur de Lis?and possibly a thistle? Also the very ancient symbol of a double headed eagle……..A stunning piece!! Possibly early to mid 1600’s
