Absolutely stunning Rare pair of folding, Traveling Hunting Cutlery with Gilded Bronze Repoussé handles of hunting scenes. Dating from the first quarter of the C18th, this Knife and Fork are in immaculate condition. Extremely rare to find a pair and almost impossible in this condition. Most likely of Dutch or French origin. They have a makers mark on the blade. Knives and Forks from this era were for the very wealthy and this pair would have been formidably expensive.
