Stunning pair of Full Figural Tudor Atlantes (Male Caryatid) in Oak standing 19 1/2”/ 50cm tall in traditional dress of Doublet and Hoe with traditional in fashion long leather boots with low heels of Henry V111’s Court. They are superbly carved with a fantastic colour and patination. Highly unusual to be full height figural carvings. A super rare Genuine pair of C16th carvings. They stand on their own so look fantastic on early oak. Circa 1580
