The sides of the bottle are beautifully carved with various strap and vine carving. The original shaped screw in cap with thread had a cross one side and religious head dress or hat the other side, again with carved sides. Dating from the first half of the 17th Century and most likely of Italian origin. The colour and patination are stunning and the condition outstanding.
