Stunning Extraordinarily intact Rare 17th Century Hunters Powder Flask. Beautifully turned Walnut body inlaid with Wolves, Hunting Dogs and Rabbits in etched bone. The centre inlaid with a type of Constellation of planets and stars in Mother of Pearl. The spout and mechanism in iron and perfect original working condition. No cracks, splits or losses. Most likely of Westphalian origin and would have had a leather strap that fitted through original brackets. A Rare and beautiful collectors piece in exceptional condition. circa 1660-80
