Late 18th, early 19th Century French grape pickers accessories. A naive Figural knife with a curved blade for nipping bunches of grapes off the vine to throw in the ‘hod’ which most likely was carried on his back. And, a beautiful Coquilla Nut snuff box with back pack, the fibrous end of the nut left for his hair. Both pieces holding grapes in their left hand. A superb ‘pair’ with fabulous colour and patina. Circa 1780-1800
