Superb 19th Century Pewter Snuff Pistol in original Polychrome paint. These are usually very badly worn and have lost their paint. Painted with black barrels, brown stock and gilt embellishments. Opens and closes perfectly. These were Victorian ‘Novelty’ pieces. It has taken on a lovely polished patination and displays very well….9 cm’s long Circa 1850-60
